Will Staton chose to make Syracuse, New York his home after starting a family.

He is running for Congress as an independent in New York's 22nd District. Will believes because the two-party system is irreparably broken, America needs a new vision to put people over political party.

Leveraging his experience in education and community leadership, Will plans to have the difficult conversations required to find common ground, pragmatic solutions, and—most importantly–trust. Will, a native Mississippian, began his career as a high school history teacher in Memphis, TN.

He has served as a teacher, school administrator, financial representative, and independent consultant.
